Reviving ancient ornament

Ancient ornaments are my passion. For example, I love this 16th century ornament from this site.
I enlarged it and made a chart. Well, I can see some mistakes now because enlarging the picture to pixels generates "noises" which are seen on the chart unfortunately.

What I decided to do - to make a bag in tapestrycrochet technique.
This is how it looks now. I like it. And two yarns make the garnment harder - just needed for a bag.

Here I demonstrate the trick - the loom of the previous stich should be in the colour of the next stich.

I will show you the bag when it comes ready. :)

My first stick insect is born!

I received stick insects eggs 3 month ago and so much time had passed that I didn't hope anymore. I decided that I did something wrong with the eggs. This morning I noticed that some stich has fallen in the bowl, I wanted to clean it out but... it moved.

Dancing frogs

I was asked to knit a frogs sweater for 3 years old girl. Colours - pink (sweater) + green (frogs) was rather difficult to combine but I did find the tones which inspired me.

The process was long but fortunaltely winter is still far away.

Knitted as top-down raglan. Frogs were not so easy to put on so small sweater. So I decided to leave middle legs hanging - and just frogs became dancing ones. :)
